Porshia is nothing but a bundle of fresh energy like her home town from the valley of Himalayas. Her taste of music grew with Rabindra Sangeet, Indian Classical, folks and contemporary film music. She tends to cater the songs which tell a story of true heart and soul. Her taste of music breezes around the classic of Bollywood and Tollywood with her own touch. Porshia’s biggest inspirations are Rabindra Nath Tagore, Girija Devi, Gautam Chattopadhyay, Late Mangeshkar and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Despite of winning numerous competition in her school days she hardly took a chance to make it public, but when she did it took her to the top 7 finalist in the much known Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2014, as well as top 5 of “Suro ka Eklavya”( a Hindi reality show). She has worked on multiple playbacks, both in Bengali and Hindi. Porshia has performed with several famous singers like Bapi Lahiri, Usha Uthup, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Hariharan, etc. One of the best work of herself was a Indo-Bangladesh Project called “Letters from Siliguri”.


Soumen Nandi is a renowned musician and singer from West Bengal, India. He has over a decade of musical career in different genre like Indian Semi Classical, Folks and Modern Bengali and Hindi songs. He was born in a musical family where his mother is a Singer and Father is a Tabla (Indian Classical Percussion) player and started learning from them from an early age of 5. Later he became a disciple of Acharya Sanjay Chakraborty to learn Indian Classical.

From a very early age Soumen started performing in music competitions as a child prodigy. At the age of 10, he won the All Bengal Music competition organized by West Bengal Government, India. Then in the year 2004, Soumen joined the television reality show and competition “Eto Noi Sudhu Gaan” telecasted by “Tara Music Channel” where he ranked 1st in Eastern India. Once again in the year 2005, he joined another television reality show and competition “Bhalo Bashi Tai Gai” telecasted by “Aakash Bangla Channel” where he again ranked 1st in Eastern India. Subsequently, in 2007 Soumen joined “ZeeBanngla – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” the most popular and challenging musical reality show where at the regional level he stood 1st in Eastern India. Later in 2009 he was invited by Zee TV to compete at the national level “Zee – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa”, which was broadcasted Nationally and Internationally where he was awarded the 2nd runner-up.

Soumen has worked performed in most cities in India and shared stages with stalwarts like Music Director Pritam, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Shankar Mahadevan, Abhjit Bhattacharya, Sanjay Chakraborty and several other famous singers and musicians of India. He performs regularly in Indian Television Channels as a guest artist. Additionally, he has performed in USA, Canada and several other countries. Apart from doing shows, music compositions etc. since 2010, Soumen has collaborated with ‘’ and doing research in the vast field of Indian and World Music named “PRAAN SANGEET” for improving the health values of human being in future days. His compositions and improvisations based on Indian Classical Raga Music and chord chemistry are highly appreciated by different seniors and professors of India. Today Soumen is also a trainer and mentor for Zee TV, training Indian Music to the next generation singers.
